The following story is an inspiration to all fathers of the world:
In 1989 there was a terrible earthquake in Armenia that killed over 30,000
people in four minutes. A distraught father went in frantic search of his son.
When he reached his son's school all he saw was a pile of rubble.
But he was driven by his promise to his son "No matter what, I will be there for you!"
He visualized the corner where his son's classroom whould be, rushed there
and started to dig through debris, brick by brick. Others came on the scene.
The father was told it was too dangerous and to leave it up to emergency crews.
But he tenaciously carried on digging, night came and went and the 38 hours later...
he thought he heard his son's voice "Armand!" the father called out.
Then he heard, "Dad!?!" "It's me, Dad! I told the other kids not to worry!"
"I told them that if you were still alive, you would save me and when you came
to save me, they would be saved... There are 14 of us left out of 33...
When the building collasped, it made a wedge-like triangle and it saved us"
Now there was a clearing for Armand to come out "Come on out, boy" cried the father.
"No, Dad! Let the other kids out first, because I knew you'll get me!
No Matter what, I know you will be there for me!"
Want a wonderful world it would be if all the children in it could say the same.
